By booking, you are agreeing that:
- Safety is of paramount importance at all times. Please be aware that knives, ovens and electric hobs will be used on a regular basis after initial safety demonstrations and under strict supervision. Misbehaviour will not be tolerated and in extreme situations attendees can be withdrawn for their own safety or the safety of others.
- Attendees must ensure they follow all instructions given to them during classes and workshops. Most importantly, they must follow health and safety rules. Food hygiene will also be addressed and must be adhered to.
- Health & Safety and Food Hygiene rules and expectations will be instructed at the beginning of each class, therefore, being on time is of the upmost importance.
- Any dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions MUST be noted upon booking. Failure to raise my awareness of dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions beforehand could affect a class/workshop.
- The person attending must not have ANY viral illnesses* on the day or within 48 hours prior to the date of the class*. A person cannot attend if they are suffering from sickness or diarrhoea.
- We will not be held responsible for food once it has left the premises. Food must be stored and heated as advised by the teachers at the class/workshop. If you are unsure, please ask.
- Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn to classes/workshops. Shoes must cover toes, hair must be tied back where necessary and minimum jewellery is recommended. The wearing of nail varnish is not advised. Aprons will be provided but please consider your wardrobe and wear appropriate clothing. We will not be held responsible for any clothing stains or damage.
- Personal belongings are brought to our workshops at the attendees’ own risk. We will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings. Cars are parked in the car park at your own risk.
- Cancellations must be made one week prior to the commencement of classes/workshop in order to receive a full refund. Rescheduling can be made one week prior to a workshop. Less than one week’s notice of a booked workshop will result in NO refund being given. *Acceptions do apply for someone suffering with a viral illness, including sickness and diarrhoea.
- In result of cancellation made by the company (Rachel’s Creative Cooking), a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
- At Rachel’s Creative Cooking, we use cleaning products, including disinfectants and sanitisers, that are advised by the Food Standards Agency and meet the BS EN standards. Thorough cleaning takes place before, after and throughout all classes/workshops.
Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The government has now removed any restrictions in relation to Covid-19. However, we still ask that you are vigilant. If your child is showing symptoms of Coronavirus or any viral illness* (as stated above) we ask that, for the safety of others, you withdraw your child from the workshop and we will offer you a full refund.
During classes/ workshops we will continue to take the following steps to reduce the risk and the spreading of coronavirus:
- Clean kitchens throughly using Food Standards Agency recommended and BS EN standards cleaning products.
- Encourage frequent hand washing for both staff members and attendees.
- Keep windows open to allow fresh air to circulate.
