Recipes

These recipes are great for kids who want to do some cooking with a watchful eye over them or anyone who wants to prepare a quick and easy meal. Most recipes can be ready within just an hour (with the exception of breads and some pastries) and contain an element to them where you can be creative, which is what we’re all about!

Naan Bread

The first time I made this naan bread I swore I would never buy or order any again, and neither should you. It’s really simple, smells amazing when cooking and tastes amazing fresh out of the oven. *Nigella seeds are available in local supermarkets such as Tesco.

Mushroom Rice

I think mushroom rice complements a good curry perfectly. It’s mild and soft with a subtle flavour of mushroom – perfect for absorbing the rich flavour of your curry, but also great for masking the heat.

Easiest Ever Ice Cream

This ice cream recipe is SO easy and takes so little time that it give you loads of time to make all sorts of tasty things to put in it! Why not try adding brownies, cookies, colourful cupcakes/ birthday cake, salted caramel sauce, fruit coulis, meringue… just for a few […]

Sausage Rolls

Sausage Rolls have always been popular with kids and although they are easy to buy and put in the oven, they are surprisingly easy to make. Ok, you can cheat with ready made puff pastry to make it easier, but we won’t complain – Puff Pastry is hard to master!

Jammie Dodgers

I loved Jammie Dodgers as a child, in fact, I wouldn’t turn one down now! These can be so much fun to make because you can chose any shape to make them into and any type of jam you fancy. Watching the jam come through the holes as you sandwich […]

Potato Wedges

Who doesn’t love potato wedges? Even better when you can choose your own seasoning! Perfect for BBQs in the summer.. or any other time of the year!

Beef Empanadas

Empanadas – little pockets of puff pastry filled with rich fillings, in this case beef, with a hint of spice. Can be eaten hot or cold but I definitely prefer them hot – good luck trying to save any for later!

Patatas Bravas

Sautéed potatoes served with a rich, spicy tomato sauce and eaten with cocktail sticks… what more could you want? I roast my potatoes as then I can be getting on with other things whilst they’re in the oven, but feel free to sauté them in a frying pan if you’d prefer.

Easy Paella

This might not be the traditional way of making a paella but it sure does taste good! The chorizo gives it a lovely flavour but feel free to add different or additional meats if you please 🙂
