Who doesn’t love potato wedges? Even better when you can choose your own seasoning! Perfect for BBQs in the summer.. or any other time of the year!
Ingredients
- Baby Potatoes (150g per person)
- Vegetable Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Choice of Seasoning e.g. chilli, herbs
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200ᵒc.
- Bring a pan of salted water to boil.
- Wash your potatoes and make sure there are no nasty bits on them.
- Cut the potatoes into quarters, lengthways.
- Put your wedges into the boiling water for about 8 minutes.
- Generously oil a baking tray.
- Pour the wedges into a colander and leave to steam for a couple of minutes.
- Place the wedges on the oiled baking tray and make sure they are covered in the oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and season.
- Cook in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until they are soft all the way through and crispy golden brown on the outside.
