Fish Goujons

Something that’s SO easy to just get out of the freezer and put in the oven but also SO easy to prepare by yourself and help your children to understand what they’re eating! They’re always popular with the kids so definitely worth the while!

Ingredients

  • 450g White Fish Fillet, cut into finger sized strips
  • 100g Flour, seasoned
  • 1 Egg
  • 100g Fresh White Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable Oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ᵒC. Line and grease a baking tray lightly with oil.
  2. In a large frying pan, toast the breadcrumbs until golden brown.
  3. Season the flour with salt and pepper and spread onto a plate, lightly beat the egg in a bowl and spread the breadcrumbs out on another plate.
  4. Firstly, coat the fish in the flour, then dip into the egg and finish by coating in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the fish onto your prepared baking tray and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the fish becomes white and flaky.
