Every ingredient in this chocolate has a health benefit and can be enjoyed by anybody who is sugar free, dairy free and gluten free. You can play around with the recipe too by adding extra ingredients such as chopped nuts or dried fruit. My family love it with raisins! You’ll be surprised just how tasty this guilt free chocolate is!!
Ingredients
- 25g Cacao Powder
- 2Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1Tsp Vanilla Extract
- Small pinch of Salt
- 90g Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
- Place your list items here
Directions
- Sieve the cacao powder into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir with a large spoon. You should have a smooth runny mixture.
- Pour the chocolate into either silicone chocolate moulds (if you have any) or a small ice cube tray. Silicone works perfectly for this recipe as the chocolate can be removed easily. However, if using silicone, make sure you put the moulds onto a baking tray to prevent the chocolate from spilling over the edges.
- Place the chocolate into the fridge and allow it to set. This will take about an hour.
- Remove the chocolate from the moulds by gently turning the silicone inside out. If you used an ice cube tray, take each side and twist the tray to release the chocolate, then turn upside down and it will fall out. Keep the chocolates in the fridge until you want to eat them as they melt very quickly.
