These two ingredient hash browns are simple and tasty! The perfect accompaniment to a Full English Breakfast!
Ingredients
- 2 Large Potatoes
- 50g Butter/ Margarine
- Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 200C/ 190C Fan.
- Wash and grate your potatoes (skin on) onto a board or plate. Place into a seive and rinse in cold water until the water underneath runs clean. Turn out onto a clean dry teatowel, fold the teatowel over the potato and press to dry.
- Melt the butter for 10 seconds in the microwave. Stir the grated potato and melted butter in a large mixing bowl with a tablespoon.
- Spoon the potato into a 12 hole muffin tray. Press down with the spoon to compress.
- Bake in the centre of the oven for 5 minutes, remove from the oven and use your spoon to press down again. Place back in the oven for a further 10-15 minutes until golden and crisp.
