Potato Wedges

Who doesn’t love potato wedges? Even better when you can choose your own seasoning! Perfect for BBQs in the summer.. or any other time of the year!

Ingredients

  • Baby Potatoes (150g per person)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Choice of Seasoning e.g. chilli, herbs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ᵒc.
  2. Bring a pan of salted water to boil.
  3. Wash your potatoes and make sure there are no nasty bits on them.
  4. Cut the potatoes into quarters, lengthways.
  5. Put your wedges into the boiling water for about 8 minutes.
  6. Generously oil a baking tray.
  7. Pour the wedges into a colander and leave to steam for a couple of minutes.
  8. Place the wedges on the oiled baking tray and make sure they are covered in the oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and season.
  9. Cook in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until they are soft all the way through and crispy golden brown on the outside.
